India-US seems to be marching left, right on the road to friendship! And China-Pakistan...?

China-Pakistan must be using binoculars to closely watch the "stage show" going on in Washington.:) And, this must be on top of mind of India and US. Thats why US didn't leave the chance to take notice of Pakistan and China expressions, especially, on nuclear deal. Pakistan and China seemed to have no objection. Nuclear deal is regarding transfer of civilian nuclear reactors to India. US president seems to have assured our prime minister Dr. Manmohan Singh on N-deal. Now, that is going to be tough sell in US, right Mr. President! Best of luck!

In relation to China-Pakistan, United States, however, seems to be playing safely as it made public warnings about its opposition to G-4 resolution( regarding UNSC expansion ) before Dr. Manmohan Singh reached Washington. With this, US made China and Pakistan happy who were also opposed to G-4 resolution. That was kind of expected move from US. But, how did they save their face in front of India? Simple. Later, they said that time is not right for India in UNSC. That does not mean that India has lost its heart. It is moving ahead to gather some votes from african nations. But we all knows US factor matters a lot. The question remains: when would India get the permanant membership of the UN security council?Probably US knows. :) Looks like I wanted to say, God knows.

Just a thought! Is it not that US has started feeling insecured due to emergence of India and China as economic powers? So, lets start the chapter of doing friendship with India, as China is a hard nut tocrack. Never know!

Lets wait and watch! In the mean time, memorize the following quiz question if you are targetting to win 2 crores in KBC (Kaun Banega Crorepati).

  • India
  • Brazil
